The Callanish Standing Stones on the Isle of Lewis are one of Scotland's oldest and most magnificent landmarks, and they were the inspiration for Merida's ring of stones in "Brave." Circu was also influenced by this, and designed the upholstery to resemble rocks and natural formations.
